Why invest in the
Caribbean?

Invest in a Growing Market
The Caribbean property market continues to
grow, with property prices increasing rapidly in
many of the countries - so there’s really no
better time to invest in Caribbean property.

Stability
The economy in our featured islands is stable.
The currency is linked to the American dollar
and the political climate is stable.

Massive Tourism Interest
The Caribbean has one of the strongest
tourism industries in the world. The region is
acutely aware of its reliance on this industry
and therefore does and will continue to do
everything it can to facilitate business growth.

Demand for High Quality Accommodation
High quality accommodation is surprisingly
lacking on many of the islands and is in very
high demand - even on those islands which
appear to have an abundance of so called
luxury resorts.

Location & Accessibility
The Caribbean is easily accessible from both
North America and Western Europe and price
wars between airline rivals are slashing prices
meaning it doesn't cost as much as you think
to get there.

Natural Beauty
The Caribbean has a diverse and fascinating
ecosystem and natural environment. The
waters are considered among the best in the
world for diving and sailing and the crystal
clear waters and white sandy beaches are
always going to appeal.

Year Round Climate
Save the obvious one till last! The region’s
superb climate makes the Caribbean islands
an attractive destination practically year round
and the more easterly islands have the added
benefit of being outside the hurricane belt.

The Caribbean:
Location – location - location!

Many would-be holiday makers have a some=
what conventional idea of  the  Caribbean,
typified by images of sunny skies, umbrella
drinks, and palm trees. Certainly this is a
delightful and enticing picture, but only one of
many that makes up the real Caribbean.

Every island is unique, with contrasting
landscapes, ecosystems, ethnicities, and
foods. Because every island has something
different to offer, travelers are sure to find an
island in the Caribbean to suit their taste.

All together, the Caribbean islands are about
90,000 square miles of landmass, and one of
the most amazing aspects of this region is its
diversity.
Most of the islands are a gloriously scenic
combination of mountainous and flat
landscapes, circled by sandy beaches, which
themselves are surrounded by the crystal-
clear waters of the sea.
The best property investment
opportunity we have ever

Invest just £1,000 and enjoy a return

Mother Nature has been extraordinarily diverse and creative in her work here. Depending on
your island of choice, you’ll be stunned by what you see - from volcanic mountains (some
active) to stretches of desert, mangrove swamps to sand dunes, natural rock formations to
vibrantly colored coral reefs. There are limestone cliffs and limestone caves, rivers both
above and below ground, rapids, waterfalls, forests, rain forests, bluffs and lakes and blow
holes. And of course, there is the sea. There can’t be anything much more spectacular than
a sunrise or sunset over the Caribbean Sea.

The living creations and flora and fauna which inhabit these islands make up a huge part of
the colouring and flavouring of the  region.  There  is  what  seems  to  be  an  endless
number  of  species  of  plants  and  animals,  many  indigenous,  many “adopted” and
sadly, some endangered. You might stumble upon a shovel nose shark, a loggerhead turtle,
or a cannonball tree. You could see the world’s largest  butterfly,  the  world’s smallest
hummingbird, or have your ears assailed  by a very noisy grackle.

Stretching from Cuba in the West to Barbados in the East and from the Bahamas in the
North to Trinidad and Tobago in the South, the area comprises more than 7000 islands,
islets, reefs and cays.

Be it salsa and cigars in Cuba, Reggae in Jamaica, sailing in the British Virgin Islands or
hunting Pirates in St Vincent, with so many islands to choose from, there is something
to whet everyone’s appetite.

The intense beauty of the natural world is practically inescapable in the Caribbean. You’re
never far from a beach, a garden, or a panoramic view. Most of the time all you have to do is
look out your window or take a casual stroll. You can certainly get caught up in the splendor
without having to spend a single first minute planning for it.

Ducking your head under the incredibly blue tropical waters off the coast of just about any
Caribbean island can dazzle you with  sights beyond compare. Bright yellow  fish darting
between flame-colored  coral and fragile sea anemones dancing in the current are just part
of the wonders that can be found under the waves. With all that’s out there to be explored, it’
s no wonder that the Caribbean is home to many of the world’s most popular snorkeling and
scuba diving destinations.

Hotels and resorts of all styles, shapes and sizes take care means that there is plenty of
choice for the Caribbean traveler and something to suit all budgets. Whether you want to be
taken care of at an all-Inclusive resort or strike out on your own in  a  rental  property,  you’ll
find Accommodations  to  suit your  tastes. Many  islands even  cater  to  fans  of  Eco-
Tourism by providing camping facilities and “green” lodgings.

The Caribbean’s fiercely independent spirit is hard-earned and readily apparent. With so
much amazing diversity on offer from this group of islands, there is something for everyone,
from the first time visitor, to the Caribbean regular.
Located within the lush tropical garden
of the Merricks Beach Resort, Palmetto
Bay is constructed to the highest
specification with colonial style
architecture.
